Opulence in vehicles has gone through the roof in the past decade, and BMW is at the forefront with the option to install a glass shift knob. True, the glass shift knob is a beautiful piece of decoration, but that’s just it. What are you going to do with this shift knob year from now when it becomes all sun-damaged. The illuminated X in the middle does a great job of setting the knob off, but we all know how expensive things like this can be to replace. You must have extraordinary love for BMW to order the glass shift knob.
