The unit is based on the ultra-modern all-aluminum engine used in Astra, Corsa and ADAM. The direct injection gasoline unit develops 145 hp /107 kW and maximum torque of 205 Nm. The turbo power is sent to the rear wheels with mechanical differential lock via a sequential six-speed transmission that is operated by shift paddles on the steering wheel.  With the weight below 1,000 kilograms the two-seater accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h around 8 seconds and has a top speed of 215 km/h (134 mph).
