The 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, famous for its appearance as a time machine in “Back to the Future,” is an intriguing car. Despite its futuristic design and gull-wing doors, its performance was underwhelming. With a weak V6 engine and limited power, it fell short of a sports car. Nevertheless, it still had a fantastic 1980s space-age aesthetic.
