Light weight was mostly achieved by stepping up the carbon fiber content and stripping the interior to the bare composite, literally. The Senna is a road-legal car, but only because McLaren intended to sell 500 units instead of a very few. Add the upcoming Senna GTR, which will be built in similar numbers to the P1 GTR, and the Senna's production run quickly surpasses the Bugatti Chiron's.
