An artistic amalgamation,
the ExperiMental by Canada’s Goldammer Cycle is a fusion of dirt
bike and road racer. Founded on a reengineered Honda cr250r
chassis, it also combines an Aprilia-designed Rotax engine (a 90
hp, two-stroke built by BRC), and an Aprilia 5-gear
transmission—all enveloped with aluminum bodywork by Roger
Goldammer.
Developed in 2006 as an entry for the Discovery
Channel show Biker Build-Off, the motorcycle would go on to win
the competition. The program also included a race component at the
Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah where the machine excelled, reaching
a speed of 133 mph. Available as one of six models in Goldammer’s
collection, the ExperiMental is priced at $450,000.
