Lotus Elise S1

The Lotus Elise S1 is a two-seat super roadster that was launched in 1996. Its concept was originally designed in 1994, and it took a couple of years for it to become a reality. This super roadster is built using hand-finished fiberglass bonded to an aluminum chassis, making it ultra-lightweight.

Aside from being lightweight, the use of these materials allowed production to be kept at a decent cost.

Unfortunately, the Lotus Elise S1 was too good to be true.
