With the Top Safety Pick+ designation for the 2017 Sorento, Hyundai and Kia landed four of the first eight awards for the latest model year. The new Sorento landed top scores in every IIHS test when equipped with optional front crash prevention systems rated “superior.” Even compared to the Top Safety Pick-winning 2016 model, the latest edition is Kia’s safest midsize SUV to date. It starts at a base price of $25,400.
