By the First World War,
Delahaye was one of the most popular car companies in France.
However, after the war, Delahaye moved to truck manufacturing and
commercial vehicles, soon conquering that market. The ambitions of
the brand were bigger, so in 1933, Delahaye introduced a brand new
line of luxury models with newly developed and highly advanced
six-cylinder engines. The new model was called Delahaye 135 and it
could be ordered with various different bodies from different
coachbuilders.
