So far as we can tell at
this point, there is no hybrid componentry, no complicated
electric-boost function, and no kinetic-energy recovery
system, just pure, unadulterated horsepower from a beastly
gas engine feeding the rear wheels via a seven-speed
dual-clutch automatic transmission. Carbon-ceramic brakes
haul the prototype down from speed, and 20-inch wheels
wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires are
tasked with keeping the car stuck to the pavement.
